Woodsies was started in 1970ish by Doug Woods, Betty Woods
& children. 

The hobby of picking up rocks filled up every room of the
house, much to the appreciation of Betty Woods. As the hobby grew it turned
into the polishing of stones, and then with Chris & Cheryl the setting of
stones into Jewellery. 

Its important to mention Woodsies would not exist without
the efforts and considerable patience of many friends and people more
comfortable talking with stones than humans.

Today the buisness is continued by Chris & Cheryl
creating Jewellery, Betty Woods Chief of Advice & Daniel as the only family
member who will go near a computer.
